Released for summer are 2 special
edition designs based on the historic Los Angeles punk fanzine SLASH. The
magazine was published by Steve Samioff and Melanie Nissen in the late
1970s and was the definitive word on the L.A. punk scene. Along with the t
shirt release is a full interview with Samioff posted on our site. 2 more
graphics will be released towards the end of June.

Yes, yes. That's right. We pulled
Pharcyde's Fatlip out of his studio hiding place to partake in a t shirt
graphic for us. Very few know that Pharcyde and Fatlip ran in ads for
Freshjive in the early days, even before their first LP
dropped.

In August, Freshjive will be
hosting a photography exhibit of renowned photographer Edward Colver's
more
obscure work at the Reserve Store. Edward was one of the best and most
prolific photographers during the late 70's and early 80's Los Angeles
music scene and beyond. Along with the exhibit will be a release of
special
edition t shirts. Stay tuned.
